Enjoying an evening with several art friends.  I am gearing up for the Montana Artrepreneur Program in 2016.  These women pictured know how to kick it when it comes to getting things done.  I will be relying heavily on my artist friends to help me through the next year to complete this rigorous course.  Some have told me not to be intimidated by the 3 inch book we plough through in ten months (equal to a two year college course by the way!).  In the end it will be worth every late night study session.  This course prepares artist for the business world of art.  I’m ready to learn how to take my art to the next level.  I’m going to kick some…well you know!!

An evening with local artists as they come together to exhibit their work in December.  Enjoying the event with my art friends, Lynn and Karen.  In the background you can see Karen’s beautiful art.  Both of these lovely women have impacted my life in such a positive way.  Their support means the world to me.  And, as you can see, we do a lot of smiling and giggling, good medicine!

So honored to have my work at the Carbon County Arts Guild and Depot in Red Lodge, Montana.

Hanging out on Labor Day in the North Gallery greeting and visiting peeps.  The annual Art Festival held that day was fabulous.  So much talent to enjoy.

My work will be exhibited in the North Gallery for the month of September.  Many thanks to the staff at the gallery!

Honored in August to be the featured artist at the Downtown Billings Artwalk.

A fabulous evening visiting with friends, family and patrons of the arts.  The art walk was well attended.  The comments expressed by others about my art filled my heart with joy.

Life is good!!

An incredible evening at Toucan Gallery.

In May I taught a workshop for Moms and Daughters for Mother’s Day.  Such an honor to work with young artists.

These two young students attended the workshop with their Grandmothers who also made canvases.  I loved watching these two become friends over the course of creating their art pieces.

Sharing with young artists is so rewarding and refreshing. Their tendency towards creating and not stressing over perfection is truly a gift we sometimes misplace as adults.  I believe we can find it again given the opportunity.  I like to think that I’ve rediscovered a bit of my carefree creative side again!
