This piece just finished and sitting in my kitchen.  I’ve become a bit attached to it being a coffee lover plus the quote is presently on my chalkboard in my art studio.  It reads:

Nourish yourself every day with the wonderful things that life has to offer you

I tried a crackle effect on the cup but it didn’t work as I had hoped.  In the end I liked how it dried and rubbed over it with a silver glaze.  The crackle medium gave it a rough texture which I like.
